Our belief is simple.
The mainstream line: Radio
Dentata offers a fast-paced, quick-witted alternative to the
pabulum-driven, vanity or shock jock shows that “out of
the box thinking” radio stations have been famous for.
Our soapbox position is this:
In the beginning it was we, the people;
not we the white male; not we the huge corporations, not we
the privilege few, or the Christian right or the chosen…
but we the people
Free to make choices -
To produce art, music, poetry, books
To grow
To learn to think
To contradict without interference or fear of repercussions
If we don’t start taking back what is ours
We might as well start surrendering all our rights
Stop thinking all together
Forget art, poetry, and music, sex and freedom of choice
Stop calling yourself free people
Because in reality we will have become what we are being programmed
to be -- sheep
We believe:
People are more than just one type of music,
talk show, opinion, or even sexual position. The fact is we
are multi-dimensional we blur the lines and even contradict
ourselves and the stereo-types we want to believe in. We. RadioDentata,
aren’t going to treat adults like a one-dimensional target.
We aim to show the similarity, bridge the gap and blur the lines
even further… we are going to offer outside of the box
thinking, choices, thoughts along side those of current popular
beliefs because to do otherwise would be insulting. Our fearless
approach to sex, life, poetry, politics, and music will offer
the listener graphic, forthright, and topical entertainment.
We believe that Adults have waited too long for that second
option. And contrary to what religious zealots, politicians
or even our own parents might think, life is beautiful, messy,
fun, dramatic, traumatic, complicated and full of choices. So
why not enjoy it!
